All consultations are by appointment only and can be booked by phoning 01353 778208, booked online or in person at reception.
These can be booked in advance and are generally for non-urgent problems. Routine appointments are released every day for up to 2 weeks ahead. At times, if all routine appointments have been booked, you may be requested to ring back the following day when more appointments are released.
A number of appointments are released each day for MEDICALLY urgent problems. Our reception team will ask you if your need for an appointment is medically urgent and may ask you for details of the nature of the problem to allow them to book you in with the most appropriate clinician. This may be a GP or an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
Telephone appointments are available to book through reception if you wish to speak to a doctor regarding a medical matter. Routine telephone appointments are available to book in advance with a specific GP and are sometimes a good alternative to making an appointment for follow-up, discussion about medication or to discuss matters that perhaps do not require a face to face appointment. We hope you find these appointments add flexibility and improve access. Please ensure your telephone number is up to date on your medical records and let us know if you are happy for us to leave a message for you if we are unable to get hold of you.
These appointments cannot be made for a specific time but the doctor will phone you back on the day that the appointment is booked. If our call to you is not answered, if you have given consent we will leave a message, otherwise you will need to call again and book a further appointment.
A few telephone appointments are available as urgent telephone calls, bookable the same day. Please ensure your need to speak to a GP is urgent if you request such an appointment.
We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed and everyone's safety is of utmost importance.

Should this be required please ask at reception or mention it to your GP or other health care professional at the time of your appointment. Your health care professional may require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations or examinations in accordance with best practice.
